A combination musical and crime story, MEET DANNY WILSON is not unlike the story of the singer in THE GODFATHER who goes from being a nobody to a star and gets involved with criminals along the way. Sinatra is the singer, and Nicol is his pianist; they are barely making enough for coffee
and Danish as they work some sleazy clubs. They meet Winters, a nightery thrush, who introduces them to Burr, a nightclub owner. Burr thinks Sinatra may have something so they make an oral contract for Burr to manage Sinatra in return for half the singer's income. Sinatra becomes a hit on stage
but a flop in his love life. He adores Winters, as does Nicol, but she prefers the piani...
