Eddie Dolan (Fred Brady) is an arrogant young director who aspires to Broadway success. His attitude, however, leaves him with nothing to stage but a country club amateur show. Eddie gets a boost in the right direction when his efforts to charm the daughter of the rich owner of the country
club (Jinx Falkenburg) pay off, winning him financial backing without losing him his erstwhile girl friend (Marjorie Reynolds). Musical numbers include: "I Never Had a Chance," "Fifth Avenue," "Is It Worth It?," "Only for Me" (Saul Chaplin, Edgar De Lange), "She Was a Good Girl" (Allan Roberts,
Doris Fisher).
