John Morlar is savagely attacked in his London flat and Detective Brunel, who is assigned to the case, is led to Morlar's doctor, Zonfeld. Morlar feels he possesses the gift of evil in the form of an awesome telekinetic power - to 'will' destruction and death. Brunel realises that Morlar's power exists and that he is able to wreak havoc at will. The detective is desperate to stop the next tragedy, but can he kill the nemesis?
