The Mean Season: Review

Kurt Russell turns in a strong performance in this underrated thriller about a Miami journalist (Russell) who becomes the sole contact for a serial killer. The murderer gives him the exclusive story after each of his subsequent killings, and when the reporter becomes something of a celebrity, the film raises important issues about journalistic ethics.
