Set against a backdrop of Britain's troubles with Cyprus in the late 1950s, this film features Bogarde as a British intelligence agent tracking down a terrorist leader. Strasberg is an American archeology student visiting friends who, she unwittingly discovers, are hiding the terrorist, Chakiris.
