Mcguire, Go Home!

Set against a backdrop of Britain's troubles with Cyprus in the late 1950s, this film features Bogarde as a British intelligence agent tracking down a terrorist leader. Strasberg is an American archeology student visiting friends who, she unwittingly discovers, are hiding the terrorist, Chakiris. Bogarde believes she knows where Chakiris is hiding, but she refuses to tell. However, Chakiris presumes she has revealed his whereabouts and threatens to kill her. Fearing for her life, Strasberg hides out in Bogarde's apartment, where the pair fall in love. But when British intelligence finds out he is hiding her, they relieve him of his duties and transfer him to Greece...
