Stuart is secretary to company boss Cawthorn. She's got a thing for office boy Alexander, but the boss' son, Reed, has it in for her. Alexander calls the romance off, but he later realizes the error of his ways and decides to marry Stuart after all. He gets fired and her family picks on his faults. He tells them to get lost, and Stuart takes another job and leaves Alexander. He finds out where she works and begs forgiveness. After getting back his old job, all is resolved. Witless, with fairly sappy dialog. You'd never guess that this was adapted from a play by the very talented playwright Anderson. Overlong at 62 minutes and a real waste of acting talents. leave a comment
