This fun-filled farce stars Randall as a tax examiner out to investigate farmer Douglas and his wife Merkel. Upon his arrival, he discovers this couple has never paid taxes, nor do they use money. A typical transaction involves a ton of manure traded for some hogs which are swapped for a refrigerator, which in turn is traded in on an organ that ends up being a donation to the church.
