Successful as toys and on Saturday morning television, THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE ventured into the theatres with little success. He-Man (Dolph Lundgren) and Skeletor (Frank Langella) battle mightily as they search for a key that unlocks the secrets of the universe. The film is ablaze with laser battles, with pauses for Skeletor to pontificate on the glories of evil and such.
