The Masquerader: Review

This was Colman's eighteenth and final film for Goldwyn. Based on a 1905 best-seller, then a play, then a silent film which starred Guy Bates Post in 1922, THE MASQUERADER puts Colman, once again, in a dual role. (He probably played more dual roles than anyone, a practice that culminated with A DOUBLE LIFE, for which he won an Oscar.
