While on vacation in Mexico City, nightclub entertainer Lamour finds herself hunted as a suspected jewel thief. De Cordova is a woman-chasing bullfighter who's after Dvorak, wife of banker Knowles. Knowles rescues Lamour from the police and gets her to entice de Cordova away from his wife.
An expensively made bit of fluff, this was a Mexican-based version of the 1939 Parisian-set picture MIDNIGHT, also by the same director. The set pieces in this version are all right, though nothing special. Lamour has a few good numbers such as "Forever Mine," but this is a minor film at best.
