This is an entertaining swashbuckler with all the required elements: horses, intrigue, fancy costumes, and colorful sets. Derek plays a soldier home from the Austrian-Italian war of 1848. He finds that his father has been killed as a traitor. The townspeople turn on him as well and he swears revenge.
