After working hard as a printer for most of his life, Kibbee leaves his wife and children to satisfy his urge for wandering. Ten years go by and his wife (MacMahon) has become a powerful local figure, running a large newspaper. She is very bitter towards Kibbee but allows him a job as a
household servant so he can be closer to his daughters. In the meantime, local gangsters, out to ruin her, destroy her printing press. Using a hand press, Kibbee helps MacMahon by getting out a special edition of her paper and also manages to melt the hate built up by his absence. Though nothing
special, the film has a nice folksy feel to it with naturalistic dialog and some realist...
