After a group of outlaws take over the political offices of a frontier town, former marshal O'Brien is brought in to clear them out. This is one of O'Brien's best films and, despite the cliched plot, he's completely natural. He worked with his longtime director, Howard, and the two knew each other so well at this point that the chemistry translated into the finished project.
