Nice guy Bellamy marries Heming in order to save her from imprisonment in Russia, but later finds she's already married to crazy Kirkland, who has a strange habit of strangling women. When Kirkland escapes from an asylum, the horror begins. Muddled suspense film aided by Kirkland's eccentric, compelling performance and first-time director Menzies' clear visual style. leave a comment
