O'Brien is a small town doctor and Hutchinson is his Chicago wife. She finds it hard to adapt to the rural lifestyle, and the townspeople have a hard time accepting her. Not only does she have problems with gossiping neighbors, but her relationship with her husband doesn't go too well either. She heads back to Chicago but finds, as her husband has told her, that every city and town has a main street (a gossip center). leave a comment
