Stevens plays the head of a gang in search of Nazi loot buried in the jungle. The gang disguise themselves as gorillas to scare away natives so they can look for the loot without arousing suspicion, but Weissmuller, the white man who has adopted the ways of the apes, uncovers their plot. Performances are convincing, with good production, considering the modest budget. leave a comment
