Purely an exploitation picture, this film follows a Marine platoon from the battlefields of Korea to regimental reserve status in Japan and back to Korea, giving the men a chance to prove themselves. Reese plays the overbearing sergeant who's busted down to private but still proves to be
the real leader of these men. The characters are all the stereotypes imaginable, but the cast handles these caricatures well. Walsh does his usual adequate job in handling the action sequences. Look for some location scenes filmed in Japan.
