Reed is a garage mechanic enraptured with his boss's seductive wife, Dorne. Boss Dwyer doesn't care for the attention this mechanic pays to his wife, but Reed ends up killing his boss in a fight. With Dorne's help, the murder is covered up, and together the pair opens a roadhouse. Mayne is a rich man who helps out Dorne with some needed money but gradually learns what happened to her husband.
