Intriguing story with lots of interesting twists has Gallian kidnaped by a drunken sailor. He later claims that she is a stowaway, and throws her off the ship near the Panama Canal Zone. She earns a living by working in dance halls, until she runs into Tracy, an American detective investigating a plot to blow up the canal. Gallian becomes involved in counter-espionage to stop the culprit from going through with his plan and in the process falls in love with Tracy. Complications in the effort to catch the saboteur arise out of the presence of Japanese, English, and US undercover agents unaware of one another's purposes. Slow-paced direction is made up for by an intriguing plot and first-rate performances. leave a comment
