Margie

The picture got its title from a former pop tune, a title tactic Universal was using quite a bit during this period. This one centers on a young couple, Brown and Grey; he's trying to make it as a songwriter, and she as a radio scriptwriter. Their frustration ignites marital strife, leading to a temporary separation. A series of screwball events gets the two back together.
