Lithe, lean Kay Francis stars in this piece of fluff as the lover of Cortez, a shady munitions smuggler who dumps her in steamy Rangoon, where she gets a job at a local nightspot run by Oland (in another of his bogus Asian impressions). She soon becomes the kind of local star Marlene Dietrich used to be when dumped in exotic places by her various screen lovers.
