A poor WW I melodrama stars Cooper as captain in the Army Engineer Corps who marries AWOL ambulance driver Collyer. She is a society girl who became bored with the war, ran away and drew enemy fire to Cooper's company. He must arrest her and grows to admire her stamina when she marches like
one of his men in their trek back from the front. They marry in a small town. Coop and his company are sent back to the front, and he is reported dead. She becomes an officers' party girl. When Cooper, who was only wounded, finds her, he will not have anything to do with her. In the end, the war
is over and the couple make up. Boring, poorly written, and unbelievable.
