This British comedy mixes sex with social satire as Taylor plays a public relations man who represents pop singer Francis. After an affair between the singer and a young woman turns into an abortion scandal, Taylor leaves the agency. He goes on a drinking binge and splits with his wife. He turns to friend Booth, but sleazily seduces the fellow's wife, White. Eventually, Booth is killed in a car accident and the singer's sordid past comes to light.
