The Man Who Had Power Over Women

This British comedy mixes sex with social satire as Taylor plays a public relations man who represents pop singer Francis. After an affair between the singer and a young woman turns into an abortion scandal, Taylor leaves the agency. He goes on a drinking binge and splits with his wife. He turns to friend Booth, but sleazily seduces the fellow's wife, White. Eventually, Booth is killed in a car accident and the singer's sordid past comes to light. Taylor turns his back on it all and departs with White. Although entertaining in spots, overall this one is dated and heavy-handed effort.
