In one of his finer dramatic roles, Crosby plays a divorced father who fights his wife and the courts in an effort to retain custody of his son. After a split which is far from amicable, Crosby refuses to allow his ex-wife to see their son. She takes Crosby to court and the judge sides
with her, granting her and her new husband custody. Crosby then unsuccessfully tries to get his son back by force, but finally his anger is quelled by his friend and lawyer Stevens.
