A MAN IN LOVE is romantic melodrama on a grand, international scale. Set mostly in Italy's Cinecitta film studio, it stars Peter Coyote as Steve Elliott, a temperamental American actor playing the lead in a film biography of Cesare Pavese, the Italian Communist writer who committed suicide in 1950 at age 41.
