MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH, THE

The original version of this film so appealed to Hitchcock that he felt it could take a remake and survive. He also believed that he could improve upon it — an opinion open to debate. Better or not, this twisting tale of a vacationing American couple (James Stewart and Doris Day) who witness a murder in Morocco is vintage Hitch, and Day sings "Que Sera, Sera."
