Man In The Saddle

Scott gets run off the range by Knox, who doesn't want him hanging around because Knox is afraid Scott may steal his wife, Leslie. Scott takes to the mountains with schoolteacher Drew, though Leslie's in love with him, too. When drifter Russell shows up and tries to take Drew away from Scott, both become engaged in a wonderfully exciting brawl. Scott heads back into town to settle his score with Knox and, after a good deal of gunplay, leaves with Drew by his side. Leslie is left at Knox's ranch, a widow. Some excellent photography during the nighttime raids and de Toth's skillful direction make for one heck of a western.
