This simple-minded programmer from Republic starts off well but quickly gets bogged down in stereotypes and cliched storytelling. O'Shea, in an unbelievable performance, is an engineer in a shipyard. Thanks to his savvy, the yard is able to produce ships using a new, revolutionary building technique, which makes for better, cheaper ships. This leads to an inevitable romance in the form of Shirley. leave a comment
