The Man Who Dared: Review

Fairly engaging drama in which a crusading reporter is out to expose some of the problems in the judicial system, specifically the concept of "circumstantial evidence." To do so, he makes himself the prime suspect in a murder case. THE MAN WHO DARED represents the feature-film debut of director Sturges who later became well-known for his action-oriented westerns, including THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN and GUNFIGHT AT THE O.K.
