Following their triumphant parody of film noir, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, Steve Martin and director Carl Reiner took on the mad-scientist film with hilarious results. Martin plays a famed neurosurgeon who travels to Vienna with his ice-queen wife (Kathleen Turner) in an attempt to revive their romance.
