Barker is a special investigator who goes to the town of Tomahawk to bring to justice the men responsible for a series of stagecoach holdups and killings. The main suspects are McNally and his group of sheepherders. However, Barker, along with sheriff Bardette, thinks that aspiring
politician Dehner and his gunmen are the guilty parties. This was the first western directed by Jack Arnold, master of such science-fiction classics as THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN and THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON.
