James is an ad promoter who persuades Askey, a makeup man for British TV, to help him sneak in a commercial for his product, Bonko Detergent, during a TV show. They pull it off, but Askey is fired. The two then set up a pirate station to broadcast their commercials at will. The van they use to broadcast from is hijacked by a gang of thieves who think there is gold in the van.
