Maisie (Sothern), the struggling showgirl, loses her carnival job because of an intoxicated Ayres. The judge decides that Sothern must be put on Ayres' payroll, who turns out to be a very wealthy man. She becomes the maid, but also helps solve the family's problems when she stops O'Sullivan from marrying a fortune hunter and gets Ayres off the booze. The film ends with Sothern engaged to her employer. leave a comment
