Sothern is struggling to get on the Broadway stage when she meets Skelton, a stage-struck comedian, and a bundle of second-rate performers, producers, and agents. Sothern and Skelton are accused of swindling after the real criminal drops a bag full of money into their laps. The comedian is
jailed, and Sothern goes on the trail of the bad guy. The teaming of Sothern and Skelton works very well in this otherwise routine comedy.
