A young girl from a poor family brags about knowing Czar Alexander II. When the czar visits her boarding school unexpectedly, he confirms her story because he is taken in by her charm and beauty. He brings her to St. Petersburg and tells her of his plans for social reform. But a few days before the reforms are known to the public, revolutionaries bomb the czar's carriage and he dies in her arms. leave a comment
