Tibor Takacs's wonderful horror film concerns bookstore employee Virginia (Jenny Wright), who is reading a book called
I, Madman by one Malcolm Brand. She soon begins to notice that objects described in the book are starting to pop up in reality, and it's not long before the title madman
(Randall William Cook), a strange doctor patterned after his author, also escapes into the actual world. Soon murders depicted in the book begin to occur, and when the maniac killer--turnabout being fair play--mistakes Virginia for the fictional character who scorned his love, her life is on the
line as well.
