Made In Heaven

MADE IN HEAVEN is a wholly romantic fantasy with almost no contact with realism. It is essentially a genre picture on the order of HERE COMES MR. JORDAN; HEAVEN CAN WAIT; or ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER in which characters move freely from Heaven to Earth, falling into a seemingly impossible love with another soul. MADE IN HEAVEN concerns two souls (Timothy Hutton, Kelly McGillis) who fall in love in Heaven, are separated, and eventually reunite on Earth. Looking more like an Americanized homage to the spirit of Jean Cocteau or the French New Wave, MADE IN HEAVEN is both technically playful and poetically romantic.
