Charming Durbin vehicle (her third starring role) which sees the young singer as the daughter of vain and aging Hollywood actress Patrick. Durbin is sent to a Swiss boarding school by her mother so that Mom's public won't realize how old she's getting. Left abroad with no family, Durbin creates a fantasy father who is a world traveler and adventurer.
