A southern exploitation drama starring Baer (who also produced) as a redneck sheriff who assumes that outsiders Alan and Jesse Vint and their friend, Waters, are responsible for the murder of his wife, Blackman. Baer sets out seeking revenge on the strangers, but in reality Scott and Gammon committed the crime. Deputy Gilman eventually learns the truth, but he is too late to prevent the inevitable disaster.
