Percy Kilbride and Marjorie Main star as Ma and Pa Kettle in this spin-off of THE EGG AND I (1947), in which they played the Kettles as supporting characters and spawned the lengthy comedic series that lasted well into the 1950s. The Kettles, down-and-out parents of 15 kids, are on the verge of being evicted from their ramshackle home.
