Another rustic comedy starring Kilbride and Main, this film features the proud but poor parents trying their best to win enough money at the county fair to send one of their daughters, Nelson, to college. Main tries her hand in the baking competition, while Kilbride rustles up enough dough
to buy an old trotter and some silks in order to enter the fair's horse race. Of course, the dedicated parents triumph over adversity, and daughter Nelson hooks up with dashing young man Best for the fade-out.
