A pre-"Love Boat" musical features Powell trying to marry off her widowed father, Brent, the captain of a luxury liner. Gifford plays a widowed passenger taking a cruise, wholly unprepared for the matchmaking efforts that she is about to be the victim of. Powell had been forbidden to go with her father on the cruise, but stowed away much to her father's chagrin.
