This remake of the famous Pabst film, PANDORA'S BOX (DIE BUECHSE DER PANDORA, 1929) features Tiller in the lead role. At age 14 she tries to steal a watch from a doctor but is instead caught and "kept." The doctor transforms the girl into a worldly woman and marries her off to a wealthy man. Her new husband enjoys watching her dance au naturel but dies from a heart attack after catching her in a liaison with a young artist. The young man becomes her next husband, but he also dies, committing suicide. Finally, Tiller marries the doctor but kills him in a fight over a pistol.
