This ramshackle family-reunion flick wastes fine actors in the service of a script that boasts not a single moment of emotional validity. Headstrong Lidda (Kirsten Dunst) is tired of her dead-end life in Tulsa, Okla., with her mom and mom's boyfriend. So on her 18-birthday Lidda decides to head for Las Vegas and look up Charlie Doyle (James Caan), the ne'er-do-well father who abandoned her during childhood.
