Lucky Me

This routine, lackluster musical casts Day, Walker, Silvers, and Foy as entertainers stranded in Miami who are forced to work in a hotel kitchen. Then Day meets Cummings, a successful songwriter who hopes his own musical production will be financed by a wealthy oilman, Goodwin. Unfortunately, this requires that Cummings be nice to Goodwin's spoiled daughter, Hyer, who complicates matters for Cummings every step of the way. In the end Day and company convince Goodwin to invest in Cummings' show.
