Lame comedy stars Mundin as a dim London cabbie who wins the sweepstakes and then is conned into buying an old cavalry horse that is being sold as the sibling of a Derby champion. Subplot concerns Mundin's daughter Paterson who ends up in a gangster's nightclub long enough to belt out a
few unmemorable tunes and start up a boring romance with Starrett. As it turns out, Mundin's candidate for the glue-factory wins the big race after all the cabbie's friends have laid their money down on the animal.
