Philipe stars as an amorous Frenchman who goes off to London to charm a number of women, finally marrying Hobson. Soon after that, boredom sets in and Philipe pursues Parry. When she spurns his advances, he desperately fakes a suicide attempt to gain her sympathy, but the trick goes awry and he plunges off a balcony to his death.
