First Love

Durbin, a major box-office star in the late 1930s, made headlines (no joke) with FIRST LOVE by getting her first screen kiss in the film. Aside from that, FIRST LOVE is not too memorable. Durbin is an orphan adopted by a rich, uncaring family. Returning from school, she is snubbed by relatives who try to prevent her from going to the gala ball. With the help of the servants, she goes and meets Prince Charming, Stack, and he gives her that monumental kiss. Film debut for Robert Stack.
