This early 1930s woman's picture was better than most of its ilk, thanks to the good work of the cast. A wandering husband, played by MacKenna, is cheating on wife Astor by having an affair with Tashman. Conlon is the 13-year-old son who ultimately confronts his father about the affair.
The story ends with MacKenna breaking it off to regain his son's respect. Though the story starts slowly, once it gets going the drama works well. The cast is sensitively directed, and Astor gives an effective performance, although Tashman overacts.
